Hanhaba obi is a more casual obi, originally half the width of a fukuro obi. Often worn with a casual summer yukata. Hakata ori refers to a traditional weaving technique, originating in Hakata city (now part of Fukuoka).

It is decorated with easily recognizable geometric pattern.
This one is made of textured cotton in subdued red, with silk thread decoration in black and white. The other side is plain red.

Please note, this is a vintage item. There is a couple of darker spot on the plain side.
There might be present some other minuscule imperfections, such as a spot of discoloration, a slightly pulled thread, etc. Please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a brand new and perfect item. Thank you for your understanding.
